Craftic — Frontend
Craftic is a global handmade goods marketplace where independent shops sell directly to buyers worldwide. The frontend provides artisans with shop management tools and customers with product discovery, cart, and checkout flows. Revenue is subscription-based — no commission taken from transactions.
Scope of work
- Designed and built the entire frontend architecture from scratch
- Implemented shop management UI — creation, product listings, delivery profiles, policies, payment methods
- Built customer-facing product discovery, search and filtering
- Implemented multi-shop cart with per-shop checkout flow
- Built order management interface for both shops and buyers
- Implemented subscription plan management for shops
Challenges & solutions
Designing a multi-shop cart where each shop has isolated checkout, payment methods, and order flows was the core frontend challenge. Required building a cart state model that grouped items by shop and maintained independent checkout sessions per shop without cross-contamination of payment state between concurrent shop checkouts.
